Triticale is a feed grain that is used in mainly dairy feed rations. It helps produce high milk yield, quality & protein. It is suggested that triticale has an advantage over all other grains with superior enzyme digestion & starch fermentation in cattle. This results into higher energy availability for ruminant animals. Triticale is less likely to cause acidosis than wheat making it relatively easier to feed. It’s also suitable for chook feed.
